(V-TVseries.com) ABC has launched a new segment titled Ask the V Stars where stars of the TV Show V answer questions from fans. In this episode, questions are posed to Scott Wolf, who plays Chad Decker, the media liaison between the Visitors and the world. In V, Chad is given extensive access to the Visitors and has, until recently, mostly stuck with the “company line”. Now he has reason to question the Vs more and his independence is starting to show more and more. So what do fans want to know about Chad Decker? Here is Ask the V Stars starring Scott Wolf…
(V-TVseries.com) Below are two videos that will provide you with a sneak peek of the next episode of V, which is titled “We Can’t Win”. Things intensify between the Visitors and the resistance and new battle lines are drawn. The two sneak peek’s below will tide you over until Tuesday’s episode. Enjoy!
(V-TVseries.com) The V TV series on ABC dropped another million viewers this week, leading to a concerning downturn just before the show is about to be taken off the air for at least three months (we are working on another article about that).
For Tuesday, November 18, V had 9.2 million viewers. That’s one million less than last week and nearly five million less than the V premiere. More concerning is that for the first time since its premiere, V was toppled by a reality TV show, The Biggest Loser. In addition, ABC’s reality TV show, Dancing with the Stars, that aired after V pulled in 16 million viewers.
Sci-Fi fans may want to band together and really promote the show if they want to see it continue on a major network. If it drops further, V is likely to be reevaluated or canceled. Feel free to share your promotion ideas in the comments below.

(V-TVseries.com) If you are a Peace Ambassador, then you’ve already received the following message from Anna. It talks about the new diplomatic relations that the Visitors have established with the United States. This is a huge step in the quest for peace and growth. Here’s the message:
I am pleased to inform you that we have officially established diplomatic ties with the United States. Visitors are to be granted visas giving us the freedom we need to further integrate ourselves into your society.
This is a landmark achievement that could not have taken place without the diligence of dedicated Peace Ambassadors like you. But there is more to be done. Your continued efforts to recruit others who have not yet accepted us will go a long way in assuring a future that will benefit all mankind.
(V-TVseries.com) Ratings for V dropped in week two with 10.6 million viewers compared to 13.9 million in its first week. While viewer drop offs are a normal occurrence from the premiere week to the second week, ABC got a double whammy because it failed to lead the hour in 18-49 year olds like it did in its first week. For the night, NCIS easily toppled V in both viewers (20 million) and in the 18-49 year old demographic, which NCIS also grabbed. For the 8pm hour on Tuesday, V placed second, just above The Biggest Loser (9 million viewers) and well ahead of So You Think You Can Dance (6 million viewers) and 90210 (2.2 million viewers). ABC decided to launch V in November because it is a ratings month. The network will put the show on hiatus after the fourth episode for several months, which is likely to impact ratings even further as has been shown with Lost and Heroes after they had long mid-season hiatuses.

(V-TVseries.com) During ABCs promotion of its new V TV Series, one of the commercials they ran was a two and a half minute trailer promoting V. It was part of an overall successful marketing campaign to make V one of the most watched new TV series of this year. Here is the two and a half minute V trailer…
(V-TVseries.com) This writeup is tongue in cheek and contains my list of the top five lessons we learned from the new V TV Series:
Lesson #1:
If you’re at a top secret meeting of people who are against the aliens and during the meeting a ball of alien technology comes floating into the room, don’t stand around waiting to see what it does.
Lesson #2:
If you happen to be an alien in disguise who has been on Earth for years and you’re told the secret location of a rebel meeting and show up to the meeting after an alien attack, don’t tell the leader of the meeting that you’re an alien. You’ll be the first they think disclosed the location of the meeting!
Lesson #3:
If you see a one minute speech by an alien projected at the bottom of a spacecraft, don’t clap after the video. They can’t hear you. But do keep in mind that the most deadly aliens are the ones that don’t look scary.
Lesson #4:
If you find the alien “invasion” to be boring then just type the words “Three Weeks Later” and fast-forward past all the “boring” parts.
Lesson #5: If someone wants to carve out skin from your neck to see if you’re an alien, politely decline and leave. Not only will it leave an identifying mark on you, but chances are there’s an alien weapon floating nearby waiting to kill everyone who has been checked!
